This fabulous home is located in a small development of new houses in Caherdaniel. It is finished to
a high standard inside with a cosy open fire for those nights in to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.
It has a fully equipped fitted kitchen with all mod cons available and comfortable bedrooms. You are also ideally
placed as the beach is only a short stroll away, there is great golfing in the region and lots to do for the whole
family. This is an ideal touring base from which to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life
and have a great relaxing holiday.
Local shop, pub and restaurant; all within
1/2 mile and the beach is only 2/3 mile (approximately 1km) away.
The accommodation consists of a single property on 2 floors: a ground floor which includes the lounge, kitchen/diner, utility
room and w.c; the first floor includes a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, 2 twin bedrooms and a bathroom
with separate shower.
Oil central heating and electricity are included in addition to an open fire with starter pack, linen and towels
are included. Other facilities include a hairdryer, alarm clock, satellite TV with UK TV channels, high chair, travel cot,
music centre, dvd player, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washining machine, partially enclosed garden, patio area, garden
furniture, bbq and private off-road parking.
Smoking and pets are not allowed in the house.
Additional points of note...
- The village of Caherdaniel is beyond Westcove, near the shore of Derrynane Bay.
- In the vicinity is the curious hermitage of St. Crohane, hewn out of solid rock;
- About a mile (~1.1/4 km) away is an ancient stone fort, similar in construction though smaller than Staigue.
- Nearby Derrynane House, with its historic park, was once the home of Daniel O' Connell, the 'Liberator' who lived and worked there during his political life. The house, now excellently restored, contains a museum with O' Connell's personal possessions and furniture. It is open to the public all year round.
